The journey starts from Delhi with arrival in Haridwar, known as the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra. After completing the darshan at Yamunotri, the route returns to Barkot and then moves towards Uttarkashi. The journey continues along the banks of the Bhagirathi River to reach Gangotri, the holy source of the River Ganga and an important pilgrimage destination for devotees.
From Gangotri, the route heads towards Rudraprayag, passing through scenic mountain towns and the famous river confluences of Uttarakhand.
